Usually,in any herd of animals,there is a boss,the one who keeps order .This sculpture is of one of our Quarter Horse mares,Apple Flip.She was a sweet natured ,coal black mare.It was fun to watch her stand by the water trough,and allow the other horses to come in a specific order to drink.They never disputed her authority,for fear of her flashing teeth and hoofs!
She was also a great show horse.Our daughter Janet won many ribbons showing her both Western and English,across the United States!
